Mine Administration runs the site's supporting functions — stores, the explosive magazine, weighbridge, dispatch, time office, security, HR, community relations and statutory compliance.
Weigh vehicles in and out and issue the slip. The dispatch record, the royalty return and the invoice all start here, so it has to be right and it has to be honest.
Several of these are control points rather than clerical jobs. The weighbridge slip drives invoicing and royalty computation, the explosive register is a legal document that gets audited, and contractor labour compliance is where site operations most often get into serious trouble. Integrity in these roles matters more than experience.
Day to day this role works with Documentation, Weighbridge Operation and Data Entry.
