Purchase Order Management Executive

About this role

Trade Operations owns a trade from purchase order to final settlement — documents, shipment, payment, and every exception that needs a person.

Keep orders moving: raise and track POs, confirm acknowledgements, chase readiness dates, and flag the delay before the buyer discovers it themselves.

Nothing about a cross-border trade is automatic. Suppliers slip, documents come back wrong, quality disputes open after arrival, and someone has to hold the whole thing together and tell both sides the truth about where it stands.

Primary responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders against agreed terms
• Track order confirmation, production status and readiness, and chase before the date rather than after it
• Manage amendments and keep the commercial terms straight when they change
• Coordinate with suppliers on shipment readiness and documentation
• Keep the order records accurate, since everything downstream reads from them

Skills required

Day to day this role works with Coordination, Documentation, ERP and Order Management.

• One or more years in order management or trade support
• Two or more years in purchase order or order management
• Raising and managing purchase orders against agreed terms
• Tracking confirmation, production status and readiness, chasing before the date
• Amendment management keeping commercial terms straight
• Supplier coordination on shipment readiness and documentation
