Mine Operations runs the working: drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and the production plan they serve.
Operate the winding engine that raises and lowers people and material in the shaft. It is the most tightly regulated post on the site, and rightly so.
Several posts here are statutory under the Mines Act 1952 and the applicable regulations — Mine Manager, Overman, Mining Mate, Blaster, Winding Engine Driver — and cannot be held without the certificate of competency. That is not a preference; it is the law, and it is why the postings state it plainly rather than burying it. The monsoon decides half the year at most of our sites.
Day to day this role works with Safety, Winding Operation and Signals.
The same for every role, at every level — a haul truck driver and a staff engineer get the same cover.

Shift-based, at site, with statutory inspections and reports before work begins. Safety authority is real: anyone can stop a job, and people who use that authority are backed.

Jharia covers underground coal operations — ventilation, winding, support work and mines rescue.
A coalfield with more than a century of mining behind it and the infrastructure that comes with that. Dhanbad is adjacent and is where most people live.
Underground posts carry statutory medical and training requirements, all sponsored. Gas testing certification is required for several roles, and winding engine drivers must hold a maintained medical fitness certificate — that is a legal requirement, not a preference.
