Mine Operations runs the working: drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and the production plan they serve.
Supervise a working place directly: inspect it before the shift starts, keep the crew safe through it, and report what you found honestly at the end.
Several posts here are statutory under the Mines Act 1952 and the applicable regulations — Mine Manager, Overman, Mining Mate, Blaster, Winding Engine Driver — and cannot be held without the certificate of competency. That is not a preference; it is the law, and it is why the postings state it plainly rather than burying it. The monsoon decides half the year at most of our sites.
Day to day this role works with Team Leadership, Supervision and Safety Inspection.
The same for every role, at every level — a haul truck driver and a staff engineer get the same cover.

Gevra is one of the large opencast coal operations in the Korba district — haulage, dozing, drilling and the maintenance behind a substantial HEMM fleet.
An industrial district with company transport to the pits and shift patterns covering the mine around the clock. Korba is the nearest town of size.
