Trust & Safety protects the people using the platform — from fake employers, fraudulent postings, and the recruitment scams that target job seekers.
Investigate what should not be on the platform: fake employers, advance-fee job scams, forged certificates and stolen identities. Every case you catch is somebody not losing money they do not have.
The scam that does the most damage is simple: somebody impersonates an employer and asks a candidate for a fee. The victims are people looking for work, which is why this function exists separately from security and why enforcement decisions get documented rather than made on instinct.
Day to day this role works with Analysis, Policy, Investigation and Fraud Detection.
The same for every role, at every level — a haul truck driver and a staff engineer get the same cover.
