About this role

Support answers candidates and recruiters — the account problems, the application questions, and the technical issues that need somebody to debug across a stack.

Own the renewal book: forecast it accurately, negotiate it, and raise the alarm early enough that a save is still possible.

A large share of the people writing in are at an anxious point in their career and a slow or careless answer lands harder than it would elsewhere. That sets the tone for everything, including the escalation that has to be honest about how long a fix will take.

Primary responsibilities

• Own the renewal book and run each renewal to a process rather than a scramble
• Start the renewal conversation early enough that price is not the only lever left
• Negotiate terms, and understand the usage and value evidence well enough to hold price
• Forecast renewals accurately, including the ones that will churn
• Feed churn reasons back to product and success with enough specificity to act on

Skills required

Day to day this role works with Negotiation, Forecasting and Renewals.

• Three or more years in renewals or account management
• Three or more years in renewals, account management or sales
• Running renewals to a process rather than a scramble
• Negotiation backed by usage and value evidence
• Accurate renewal forecasting including the churn
• Feeding churn reasons back with enough specificity to act on
