Mine Operations runs the working: drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and the production plan they serve.
Own the short and medium-term plan: sequencing, waste-to-ore ratios, equipment requirements and the schedule the site is measured against.
Several posts here are statutory under the Mines Act 1952 and the applicable regulations — Mine Manager, Overman, Mining Mate, Blaster, Winding Engine Driver — and cannot be held without the certificate of competency. That is not a preference; it is the law, and it is why the postings state it plainly rather than burying it. The monsoon decides half the year at most of our sites.
Day to day this role works with Scheduling, Mine Planning, Surpac and Reserve Estimation.
The same for every role, at every level — a haul truck driver and a staff engineer get the same cover.

Barbil is at the centre of the Keonjhar iron-ore belt — mining operations, beneficiation, HEMM maintenance and the site functions around them.
A mining town in the proper sense, with everything the industry needs and not a great deal else. Bhubaneswar is several hours away. Monsoon runs June to September and dictates a great deal about the working year.
